Yeah I Know People

Check them out!

Sage Cotignola

The most incredible artist I’ve ever met, the vision behind my visual identity, and I’m so happy to say my partner. I’ve spent my life surrounded by art, but I’ve never seen anything that hits me the way that her art does, she can easily do with a paint brush what I’ve struggled to do with songwriting my whole life. Check her out!

Recalculating

One of my favorite nyc bands. They’re done wonderful things as friends of Ruderals, and I recorded a live album of theirs. I highly recommend catching them live if you can, and certainly checking out their recordings

Dolly

Dave Siegal and Margaret Horning are the best. Their music hits me in the right place, it’s the kind of music that I’ve always wanted to make, but don’t need to now that they’re here. They joined me for the release of Lost Days and I’m glad we get to do cool stuff together

The Greyscales

Brandon Glasgow is a real stand-up kind of guy. He’s also a real serious musician. The Greyscales are a powerful band, and having shared the stage with them let me just say that it can be intimidating to need to go on after them

TheyThem

Chris Sayre is an awesome songwriter, watching him play feels like what it must have been like to see a young John Darnielle. He’s put out a few albums now under the name Norwood and they’re all worth a listen

Patrick Merino

Patrick is an incredible photographer who voluntarily documents the exploits of the NYC music scene when he’s not busy photographing other important moments of our wonderful city. If you want to get a view of what the vibe in the city is like you’d do well to follow him.

The Assassination Plot

Part Sam Rasiotis from Dirty Wings, part Ben and Keith from Ruderals, part Dave Siegel from Dolly, all solid NYC Punk. I recorded their debut album Death Of The Party Scene, and I played some bass with them too. Well worth a listen

The Repressions

Genuinely the most magical acoustic duo ever to walk this earth, they were the first people to reach out to me in Queens, and still good friends today. Wonderful song writing and even better vibes, they’re pretty much required listening at this point

Astoria Music Collective

The best place to find live music in the city. Miguel Hernandez works harder than anyone else, and keeps us in great shows year round. We didn’t use his lovely visage on our live album for nothing

Virginia Marcs

Virginia is a great songwriter, and also a great person. Frighteningly powerful on the stage, and worth knowing off of it. Sage has done art for her music as well so that’s cool

Charlotte Larson

Charlotte is an amazing illustrator generally and also for music, and is a dear friend You should look at all her art and commission her for stuff!

Redhawk

Every time I run into Dan Muniz I feel my world expands just a little bit. He’s a fellow solo albumist, and let me tell you he really takes it to the next level. Seeing him live you know he’s no joke. Check out his album “Love Songs Gone Wrong” now!
